Richard Wagner’s epic tetralogy, as interpreted by director Francesca Zambello and Maestro Donald Runnicles, will be staged at the San Francisco Opera’s War Memorial Opera House in three cycles during the month of June 2011. To take full advantage of the excitement surrounding an event of this stature, we have selected the premiere cycle and secured excellent Orchestra seating, with an option to upgrade to outstanding Orchestra Premium seats in the center block. The program includes six hotel nights; we are offering an option to arrive one night earlier, relax after traveling to San Francisco, and also take full advantage of the SFO’s Ring educational program and a Symposium that focuses on the question “What is unique about our production?”, provided by the SFO’s creative and production team.

The week is rich in educational components and includes a morning of general sightseeing as well as our customary opportunities to socialize with the artists. The Inn at the Opera, situated at 333 Fulton Street, is the ideal combination of comfort and location for operagoers and culture lovers alike, with easy walking access to the War Memorial Opera House, Davies Symphony Hall, and the Asian Art Museum. The Inn is consistently praised for its intimate ambience and personal service. Generously sized Symphony Suites are reserved for couples and Concerto Suites for singles (www.shellhospitality.com). The week will be fully hosted.
