Flavors of Puccini: Il Trittico

All tickets are sold out!

Wednesday, November 14, 2018 2:00 PM

Presented by Jane Marsh

Originally envisioned as a set of one-act operas based on different parts of Dante’s Divine Comedy, Puccini’s Il Trittico—which had its world premiere at the Met in 1918— features three standalone works connected by a common plot element: concealing a death. With vocal offerings as diverse as the drama on stage, the triptych is one of Puccini’s most impressive works.
Featuring Stephanie Jabre, soprano; Michele Sexton, soprano; Alessio Borraggine, tenor; Ziwen Xiang, tenor; Michael Nansel, baritone; and Mitchell Cirker, piano
